Clarke Gable and Jean Harlow in 'Saratoga' (1937) by Clarence Sinclair Bull Clark Gable (1901-1960) was a major movie star, known to all as ‘The King’. He played opposite Jean Harlow (1911-1937) in 6 movies and although their screen chemistry was incendiary, it was (apparently) purely for the cameras.
