The Ex F111 Hanger at Brooklands was taken over by the production because the film required the largest blue screen background ever used in a British production. Shots could be obtained of up-to 24 Vulcan Hawkmen as they fly in to attack Ming's battle rocket. Note the large amounts of crash-mats to break any potential fall. Unseen still taken by Mo Gillett who took the image for lighting continuity purposes and part of the private collection.
